Nothing
can beat the melodious ancient Indian classical music. Full of
devotion and inspiration, tuned well with the lyrics based on
scriptures, spiritual music has always opened the hearts and minds of
listeners. Someone has beautifully said,
“Devotional
Singing must become an unbroken stream of bliss on your tongues and
in your hearts; it must confer on you the uninterrupted awareness of
the unity, of I and He.”
The
devotional concert commenced with the holy prayer at the lotus feet
of Lord Shiva. The series of devotional bhajans, especially composed
with the lyrics full of divine inspirations set into classical and
melodious rhythm, just made the program very engrossing and
enjoyable. The audience were enlightened with the words of wisdom and
attained the supreme peace during the program.
The
spiritual discourser of the program, Sadhvi Saumya Bharti Ji,
profoundly and proudly claimed the greatness and truthfulness of the
spiritual journey, which is the sole purpose of the human life. She
explained the profound lyrics of some of the devotional bhajans and
explained the supreme essence of each word. She described the
importance of supreme knowledge- Brahm Gyan, which is the dire
requirement for everyone in today’s time.
The
melody and the music reverberated for those two days and filled the
air with spirituality. Truly, the program made audience to switch off
their minds from all materialistic and mundane thoughts and made them
think about the path of truth beyond the limitations of this physical
world.
“We
rarely hear the inward music, but we are all dancing to it
nevertheless!!!”
